I did a shoot earlier this year with the the talented and beautiful Anika. An English artist who was on tour across the States. We caught up with her on her birthday for a shoot and video interview. Dr. Youth MD | Portraits | Hollywood, CA

I did a portrait session earlier this year for a Doctor which he used for his website. Thought I’d post them for you to see. This was a really simple lighting setup at an apartment. I had a beauty dish with WL1600 set up on camera left and another WL800 shooting towards the wall to create a white background.

We set up and shot this all under an hour. We even had time to do some casual couple shots after this which I’ll blog in another post.

Jessica + Mike’s Wedding | The Hacienda | Orange, CA

I had the wonderful opportunity to second shoot for Claire O Photo at The Hacienda for Jessica and Mike’s wedding. For a  January wedding, the weather was warm and it was a beautiful day for a wedding. We met the beautiful Bride and bridal party in the morning while they were getting ready at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange. Afterwards I hopped into the car to catch the Grooms getting ready and get detail shots of the venue before the wedding started. Claire did a wonderful job and you can see her work here and here. We’ll be shooting more weddings this summer and I can’t wait.

The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger & Laura Gibson | Live at The Troubadour | Los Angeles, CA

Back in January I had the pleasure of shooting The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, a whimsical duo made up of Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl, for mxdwn.com and Laura Gibson. My review and photos can be found on MxDwn but I thought I’d include a few my photos here on my blog that didn’t make it to MxDwn. For any readers that come upon this band, I truly implore you to go see them play because they really are quite wonderful.
